Sticky Sheep Wool Pasting Craft Day

What a busy busy day! Lots of collaborative building, creating and playing today!
The children created a rather fluffy craft... we traced a sheep onto contact plastic and put it up on the glass sliding doors. The children then had to dress the sheep with cotton wool…a super coordination and placement exercise that demands quite a bit of concentration from our little ones! They really enjoy the stickiness of the contact and it is great to have the instant gratification of watching the sheep grow as they place more and more cotton wool on them.

We are playing around with the pillows in the living room, using them as stepping stones to either carefully step on, one by one, or to jump on with both feet like a little frog. It is a real hit with the kids  and a super gross motor development, balance and coordination activity. I see they all passed out on our "stepping stones" towards the end of the day!

My serious little man... :)
