Shaving Cream Messy Fun Day!

It’s raining, it’s pouring! 

Only Namibians can get this excited about the rain! The kids enjoyed the coolness of the day and did lots of exploring with our rice and bean mix, measuring and pouring, creating with playdough, skipping on our "stepping stones" pillows, singing and dancing. Harry and Annabelle played with the long tube and cars, experimenting with gravity through play.  

For our Messy Play sensory activity today, we mixed food colourant into shaving cream. The children had a blast painting coloured shaving cream on the sliding doors with their hands. The shaving cream is essentially used as paint to create with, but can also be used as an excellent base for finger painting, as Toinee demonstrates in one of the pictures.  A super colour mixing and full body engagement sensory activity. Well done on a super week of playing, exploring, imagining and showing kindness gang!
