Last Swimming session of the year

Lots and lots of swimming pictures today! Our tots are becoming so brave! I am extremely proud of our little group today, especially Harry, who was such a courageous little soul in the pool! Thank you Dolphin Swimming instructors for your infinite patience, gentleness and sense of fun. This month with you has been amazing.

Expressive Painting Day

Today was really special as our little friend Annabelle came to visit! Our little trio had a ball engaging with each other in our invitation to play Christmas Decoration corner. We put big sheets down on the concrete and let them do free, expressive painting…they did a marvelous job. Well done gang!

Pottery, sand, water and oodles of fun

The internet wasn’t cooperating yesterday, so I sneaked yesterday’s pictures into today’s post too! We’ve had a very small group of tots, but have been having a lot of fun together! The last two days we’ve been making a tent under our living room table by throwing a large sheet over to cover the sides…the children LOVE it. Toni and Harry had a ball playing with water and sand yesterday and today, Michelle came to do a trial pottery class with the tots. Working with the clay is a wonderful sensory exercise and the texture changes as one adds water, becoming deliciously slippery and silky. 
The children are enjoying the invitation to play Christmas decoration area and spend a lot of time examining ornaments and decorating the little tree.
