Blindfolded "identify the object" Game Day

Today was our last Kindermusik class of the year! Thank you SO much Eleanor for your gentleness, your loving approach and the enriching classes that you gave our little ones this year! We cannot wait to see you again in 2016! I think the tenderness in the farewell photo’s says it all…

The tots did a fun activity today where we inspected and named a group of objects and then placed them in a pillow case. The children then wore a blindfold one by one (exciting!) and chose an object form the pillow case. They used their hands to feel the object in order to identify it. A fantastic activity to enhance sensory awareness, encourage speech and for learning new vocabulary. “It is an elephant!” It is a ball!”

The children loved it.
