This week we are looking at parts of our body and the amazing things that they can do! We have a super station where the children can measure themselves by packing blocks alongside themselves with a friend while lying down to see how tall they are. Great for concrete counting and measuring skill development. The children are also tracing each other on newsprint and enjoying free expressive painting on their body outlines. A wonderful activity for body awareness.
We have a match up activity where the children match pictures of their ears, hands, knees, etc... excellent for visual discrimination.
We also have a fun counting and physical activity where the tots can roll a dice and do the activity on the card they pick the number of times they counted on the dice.
