Petting Zoo Outing Day

Today we took the munchkins to the petting zoo for some fun explorations! The children were amazing…engaged, fascinated and so excited! Well done gang! Thank you Laimi for joining us and helping to give lifts! Thank you also to all the wonderful Grandmothers who joined us today.
Eleanor came to do a kindermusik class with our tots…it was great fun as usual :)

Name Painting Day

As part of our name recognition activities, Shasmida prepared pages with the children's names written with masking tape. The kids then had a blast painting over the masking tape in colours of their choice. Once the paint was dry, we pulled the masking tape off, leaving a beautiful, clear imprint of their name amidst their art. Well done gang!
The children are really enjoying the whole body engaging activity of driving cars over the first letter of their name pasted on the cement.

Today the children made binoculars with recycled toilet rolls and coloured cellophane and ran around looking at the world in different hues!
We also pasted the first letter of the children's names on the cement with thick masking tape and drew road marks on it. The children could then drive their cars on their letter road, getting a whole body experience of the feel and shape of the first letter of their name.
