Sensory Name Exploration Day

Shasmida prepared cardboard strips for the children with their names outlined with wool. We then smoothed tinfoil over their names and they rubbed the foil around all the creases getting a wonderful sensory experience of the dimensions and shape of their own name. We ended the activity by rubbing shoe polish over the raised ridges of their name with cotton wool, beautifully bringing their name to the fore. Great work everyone! Lots of imaginative and creative play happening at our little school at the moment!
