The children explored the use of charcoal on paper. A wonderfully messy, smudgy experience. They created some pretty lovely pieces!
For the rest of this week and next week (since this week is so short!) the children are playing with pegs and pom-poms in a fine motor control game. They need to use the pegs to pick up the pom-poms and drop them in a bowl, strengthening the hand muscles needed for writing, using scissors and performing delicate fine motor activities. A fun day with lots of playing, showing kindness and sharing in fun. Well done gang!
