It would appear, that of all the activities we do, the children enjoy the messy play ones the most! I can hardly blame them; there is a rich sensory exploratory element to messy play and it is a great opportunity to self-express. It is fantastic to see our children's individuality come out in its various expressions during these sessions. Today we pasted balloons on strings on the glass sliding doors. We wrote the first letter of their name on each balloon and then let them loose with shaving cream paint! It is a bit tricky to get the balloon to stay still whilst painting and this brings a wonderfully dynamic movement and control element into this exercise. The children loved it! I'll let the pictures tell it all...
Christian has been ill for a few days, but he was back again today...we missed you dear one! Welcome back!!! The change of the seasons seems to be causing a lot of un-wellness. Lots of fresh fruits and fresh sources of vitamin C to support our little munckins during this time! :)
I love the pictures of the children exploring music together. Well done gang!
Shasmida signing with the lyrics of our greeting song. I see Toinee and Etienne are doing well with their signing!
