Frog Eggs Sensory Play Day

Happy Sensory Friday! Last night Harry and I emptied out packets of water baby beads into our sensory tray and added lots of water. This morning the beads were deliciously squishy and looked exactly like frog eggs…just like we had hoped!
We threw in some toy frogs and swamp creatures and let the kids loose on the tray.
A wonderful sensory experience and a great opportunity for imaginative play. We repeated a few of our favourite froggie games today, like the hopping frog that counts the pebbles, sequencing the life cycle of the frog and singing five little speckled frogs.
Have a great weekend everyone!
