Cake Baking Day

Today we expanded on our imaginary cooking play by introducing the tots to baking cake! We sat around the kitchen table and the children cracked eggs, poured flour, cut butter, milk, sugar and cocoa, whisked, stirred and ladled batter into cupcake moulds. It was messy, but the children loved it! Wonderful life skills rich activity, counting, and not to mention yummy! The kids were proud of their cupcakes and enjoyed them with gusto! 

Eleanor came to do a kindermusik session that looks like it was fantastic fun!
