Some serious science investigations happening here at Tiny Tots and Tall Tales!
The children are absolutely fascinated with our tadpoles and how they are growing! Lots of close up observation happening through our little observation glass. Some of the kids bring it all the way up against their eye to watch the movements of the tadpoles up close.
We did a fun sequencing game during circle time today where the kids arranged the various pictures of the tadpoles to frogs in the right order, according to the developmental stage. They did fantastically! We had a little jar with tadpoles in, handy on the carpet to compare the drawings of tadpoles with the real thing.
The children did a "stick the dot" activity on a frog to create a warty old dotty frog ;) This activity is great for fine-motor control (peeling those little dots and sticking them down) and developing concentration span! Our kids did marvelously.
