An excellent, tactile, fine motor activity for toddlers that exercises hand muscles and is a delicious sensory pleasure.
The kids filled their little dams with water for the animals to drink from and created lovely art pieces with their clay and natural materials. They used butter knifes to cut the little "snakes" of clay that they rolled, practicing the motion of cutting.
They children loved it!
We practiced our counting by counting out lego blocks onto our dump trucks. The children's favourite numeracy activity!
Happy weekend everyone!
