Valentine's Sensory Art Day

Happy Valentine's weekend everyone! Today the kids made a "stained glass window" Valentine's Day heart by pasting pieces of cellophane onto contact plastic. They loved the sensation of the stickiness on their fingers! It is also an interesting colour exploration exercise as the colours change when you put different layers of cellophane over each other. Once done, Constantia and Shasmida sealed their "windows" with another layer of contact and cut it in the shape of a heart.
Nadine came to do a German enrichment session with the children and from the pictures it looks like they had a blast!
