Stomp-Art Party Day

Today was Etienne's 3rd Birthday!
Happy Birthday Special boy!

It just so happens that Etienne also became a big brother last night to a beautiful, brand new baby boy! Congrats guys! So a lot to celebrate today...and the kids did so with flair. :)

Some of our fellow mommies and friends came over to join the festivities. Camille made her famous coconut oil, raw cocoa chocolate cake and the most precious little fruit jellies in orange peels. The children had a feast! Even the parents and teachers celebrated with some non-alcoholic bubbly ;)

For a fun, messy play activity, the children did Stomp Art. Such fun! Constantia taped large sheets of paper to the concrete and splattered paint all over it. The kids then had to use their feet to "paint" the paper. I love the final product...so colourful and jolly! Constantia then made a birthday crown out of the artwork for Etienne, but our birthday boy preferred to continue with the festivities unencumbered by such a frivolous and cumbersome accessory ;D

Phillip (Etienne's dad) tapped into hidden talents and made the kids balloon animals...impressive! Well done Phillip!

Thank you everyone who made the day so special for our little ones.

 Go Phillip!
