Recycled eggbox train day

The children had a blast today! Our equipment from South Africa FINALLY arrived yesterday and we took time to stock our shelves last night and create new little exploring corners. Christian enjoyed the fantasy play corner with the costumes especially!! I just LOVE the pictures of him with his builder and clown costumes!

The kids made Choo-choo trains with recycled egg boxes today. We were blown away at how much they enjoyed painting the boxes themselves with the paint brushes! They created beautiful, colourful trains. 

Well done gang! 

The kids really enjoyed this water and sand gadget. As you pour either water or sand in the top, the wheels rotate and the buckets empty out. Really interesting toy for observing cause and effect.
