Today the children made miniature guitars
using empty containers and elastic bands. The elastic bands have different thicknesses and some are tighter than others, so you get different sound vibrations from each of them. The kids were fascinated! We got all the instruments out after a while and they really
enjoyed making music together afterwards.
Constantia and Shasmida gave the children
felt pens and paint to go wild with in their box houses…a super exercise for creative
expression! I love the doodles that they came up with! There are some beautiful friendships blossoming in the group...we really have a group of super kids. :)
