We created a swamp in our little inflatable pool with green gelatine, plastic animals, stones, grasses and water. The boys had a super time pulling animals out of the "swamp" and exploring its nooks and crannies.
We created a new fine motor activity for the kids over the weekend; A colour wheel on which they have to clip washing pegs with the corresponding colours. As an extension, we let the kids build lego trains along the corresponding colours. A super counting, colour differentiation and fine motor activity.
Another fine motor activity for the week is playing with locks and keys. Daniel and Harry loved this one! Etienne preferred the colour wheel.
Our Creative activity today was "tie-dying" durable paper towels with food colourant. The food colourant spreads beautifully, making fascinating art works.
All in all a happy and exciting Monday.
