Name puzzle and parachute colour matching day

We had a fun and wacky Monday with lots of exploration, playing and learning! We spread our parachute out on the floor and let the kids collect all kinds of random different items from around the classroom and colour match them on the different panels of the parachute. 

We also designed a Name recognition activity over the weekend where the children can match the different letters of their name below or on top of their name, like building a name puzzle. I love how Christy applauds herself upon completing her puzzle! 
The children did some great work today…well done gang!
