We did an activity where the children lay down straight so
their friends could measure their length by counting how many hands long they
are. The children loved it! They dipped their hands in paint and Constantia
helped them print one hand on top of the other, counting all the way to see how
many hands long their friend is. An
excellent numeracy activity that introduces the concept of measuring and vocabulary like "long" "short" and "wide". I see even Constantia's arm width got measured with a little pink hand!
