Pebble Exploration Day

Today we played and explored with different sized pebbles. The children stacked them, packed them in long rows, counted them, formed letters with them, sorted them according to size and painted them! It is amazing what children come up with and the complicated, scientific thoughts and processes that surround such activities. The children’s playing today was full of early numeracy foundation concepts such as sorting, weighing, manipulating into shapes etc. 
Aaah…aren’t they just magnificent?! 

Eleanor came to do a Kindermusik class today. It looks like it was great fun.
