Shape Tracing Day

Shasmida found some everyday objects around the house and made a real-life shape puzzle for the children. Each child got a card with numerous outlines of familiar shapes. In the center of the table we had a pile of the objects she used and the children could sort through them to find their matches. A wonderful early numeracy and sensory activity where the judging of sizes and feeling of textures help the children identify their objects.
