The children are loving the numeracy games that we’ve been playing! We are doing a lot of repetition of our most successful games and activities to give our little ones a strong foundation and true comprehension of number names and quantities.
For a fine motor activity this week the children are
sticking matchsticks into clay and threading cut straws over the matches. A
great activity for practicing the pincer grip, concentration and counting. Some of the kids are starting to do really well cutting with scissors!
Lots of wonderful free play and imagination games today…well
