Maize and Sorghum Porridge Sensory Exploration Day
Constantia made some lovely, smooth porridge this morning and let it cool just enough to be warm and pleasant to the touch. We poured the white and brown porridge out in trays, set out all the “cooking utensils” from the imagination kitchen and let the children loose!
They could pour the porridge into different containers, experimenting with volume, dig into it with their hands, experiencing the texture and temperature, they could taste, scoop, mix the colours….all in all it was a sensational Friday!
