Today we tried different ingredients for
sensory painting…turns out that yogurt and food colourant makes a silky, cool
and (rather delicious) finger paint! The children used both their hands and
paintbrushes to paint on the glass sliding doors. Great, messy fun!
We are still playing with clay and are
continuing to encourage the children to use scissors to cut the clay. Yesterday
Constantia noticed that Christian is now using one hand to cut and is managing
the scissors beautifully! Well done Christian! Achieving this milestone of fine
motor competence is a wonderful and beautiful thing to observe in our
munchkins!
Nadine came to do a German enrichment session with the kids. Looks like it was great fun!
