Salt Tray Writing Day

Today a new friend joined us! Welcome Paco! You are such an adventurous, expressive and brave lad! We are delighted to have you join our little school! The children did lots of exploring together, some exciting baking happened in our mud-pie kitchen, watering the sensory garden, making music together and lots of free PLAYING!

We hauled out the salt trays for artistic expression and Harry had the brilliant idea of driving his cars in the salt, making multicoloured tracks! Well done my bear! This term we are looking more at the letters in our names and Constantia and Shasmida showed the children how they write the first letter of their name. They could then trace the letter with their finger in the salt and the older ones could copy it if they so wished, or... just, drive more cars! Fun! :D
