There are quite a few new words, most have grown a few cm taller and many more delightful surprises and quirks of personality that we can see!
Welcome back everyone, we sure missed you all! :)
Today the children painted paper plates and stuck feathers and googly eyes on them to make birds! A fun and simple craft that gives a great final product! Nadine and Jesse came to visit too...thanks for all the empty containers Nadine! They will be put to good use!
Over the holidays we built a Mud-Pie kitchen...it's sole purpose is for creating, expressing, make-belief cooking and GETTING MESSY! Well done Christian and Harry for really getting into it today! We still want to paint our mud pie station, make one of the cupboards look like an oven, complete with knobs and wheels and paint a stove top on the surface. Seems like we will have to get little chairs for our kiddos to stand on to reach the surface with ease... I am very excited about this project! If any parents have any muffin trays/pots pans/wisks/ utensils etc that they would like to donate to our messy kitchen, that would be much appreciated!
Well done on a great day of PLAY gang. See you all tomorrow!
