We are looking at early numeracy with a healthy dose of fine motor development where the tots are clipping clothes pegs onto beautiful big numbers that Shasmida made. We are also doing a great muscle strengthening activity where the tots are fishing objects out of a bowl of water using tongs; always moving from left to right (Early literacy training to train the eye to move from left to right)
Early numeracy and literacy disguised in a super fun fine-motor game of fishing magnetised letters and numbers out with a metal clip attached to a string.
The tinier tots had a blast with the water and floating objects…excellent work gang!
