Monkeynastix Day

Some great coordination and gross motor skills practice during Monkeynastix today. I see the tots are counting beautifully when applying pegs to the large number cut-outs that we made; strengthening those little hand muscles and honing in on their fine motor skills at the same time. Great coordinated focus and fine-motor skills practice happening with the scooping of objects with tongs too. Moving from left to right when transferring the objects is fantastic early literacy practice.
