Clay Play and Rotation Station Fun Day

Our Free-choice rotation stations this week is really fun and creative!
We have a process art station where the tots use funnels and paint to create really interesting Art works...

A numeracy station where the kids can hammer golf pegs into clay. We placed laminated numbers from one to five next to patties of clay for them to count out how many golf pegs they could hammer in each patty. Nice and visual, tactile and concrete.
After our wall building adventure yesterday, the kiddos are also building structures using stones and clay. A really nice engineering activity engaging problem solving and creative thinking.

As a lovely fine motor early literacy station, the tots are winding wool around cardboard cut-outs of the first letter of their name.

Lots of fine-motor fun with Clay Play today! I see the kids made a lovely heart craft.
