Hard And Soft Sorting Day

Today was a pretty chilly, rainy day! We did a lovely sensory sorting activity where the kids had to sort hard and soft objects by touch. It is great to nurture the awareness that everyday objects have different properties, like being either hard or soft, shiny or dull, heavy or light etc. This makes all things just seem so much more interesting! The kids really enjoyed the activity and did a great job sorting!
