Today we built on our hand, finger and
counting exploration by tracing the children’s hands on paper. They enjoyed the
tickly sensation of having their hands traced! Afterwards the kids pasted
cheerios on the tips of their fingers for “finger nails” and we made a big show
of counting the fingers of both hands up to 5 and for Etienne, Christian and
Daniel, up to 10.
We made the best of the lovely, mellow,
sunny day and did lots of outside exploring and playing. The kids also made some lovely shapes with the straws and pipe cleaners.
