Swimming Day

This week we are exploring the senses! So much fun and so much to do! We're doing tons of fun games during circle time this week like blinding the kids and letting them feel their way through a bag of objects, guessing what they are through touch. We are also letting them smell different things while being blindfolded, guessing or describing what they are smelling.
We are playing a version of Simon says where they use their eyes to copy movements and ears to listen to various musical pieces.

As part of the free rotation stations, the tots are arranging eyes, ears, nose and mouth on a face, practicing their cutting and pasting as well as visual discrimination to place them in the right position.

More cutting and pasting practice in an activity of pasting food pictures on a sheet.
Painting with spices and making a sensory booklet with our teachers.
