Salt-tray writing day and Friday explorations

Friday fun with our free-choice activity stations and Salt tray art. The teachers prepared trays with rainbow colours at the bottom and evenly sprinkled salt over it so the tots could then write their name (some excellent writing by our older tots!) with their finger in the salt and afterwards, just have fun drawing in the salt! This is a lovely sensory, no-pressure way of introducing tots to forming letters. 

The children placed their beautifully decorated stones in the sensory garden...Looks lovely! Well done gang!
