Metal and Magnetic Exploration Week

Today was our first day after the big holidays! Our little ones were fantastic in their enthusiasm and bravery in taking all the new in! Separating from mum and dad after a magical holiday time of togetherness is always a bit challenging, but our little ones innate sense of curiosity, discovery and adventure quickly overrode initial insecurities. 

The older children had their first swimming lesson of the year…a fantastic one it seems from looking at the pictures! Our smaller gems continued their sensory explorations and playing at school. 

The children explored the weight and feel of different metallic objects today and experimented with big magnets. For most of them it was an immense discovery and true magic to see the magnet lift the objects off the counter! We will be experimenting with magnetism for the rest of this week.
