We made some sand trays today and Constantia helped the children trace the first letter of their name in the sand with their finger. They all did pretty well! Of course, drawing in the sand afterwards was also tons of fun ;)

Sand Tray Writing Day
A wonderfully rich explorative day today! The children practiced their hand muscles by using tweezers to pick up pom-poms and sorting them into the matching colored toilet roll. An excellent exercise to help children master the motion of using scissors!
We made some sand trays today and Constantia helped the children trace the first letter of their name in the sand with their finger. They all did pretty well! Of course, drawing in the sand afterwards was also tons of fun ;)
