Our Fine-motor activity for the week is putting elastic bands around pine-cones...excellent for pincer grip development, coordination and concentration.
For our Sensory activity today we used tools to retrieve hidden treasures frozen in a tub full of ice! The boys seemed to really enjoy using the tools and although frustrating at times, this interesting activity, which requires careful and concentrated use of tools, is an opportunity to observe how ice melts and it certainly encourages patience and strategising!
Overall a lovely, fun-filled day with a blooming friendship, sunshine and adventure. I came home to find the bear exhausted, but very content...a happy reunion!
