Christmas week

Our Christmas theme started this week! Oh Christmas time is fun! We made the tots a sensory table with bells, Christmas tinsel and decorations. They could decorate the table top Christmas tree every day and explore the sounds and textures of the various decorations. 

Our free choice rotation stations for the week included:

A"Christmas light cave" ... a covered box with fairy lights for them to explore. 
We practiced plenty of cutting and pasting skills in making Christmas collages from gift paper and Christmas decorations. 
We did a Christmas tree colour sorting activity where the children sorted balls into the matching coloured hole on the cardboard tree...they were so good!
