This week we are having a fabulous time exploring light and shadow. Our free choice rotation stations include light box explorations where we play with mirrors, shapes, colours etc.
Shadow play stations where the tots can build structures with blocks and trace their shadows as well as look at the shadows that plastic animals cast and trace them.
We are playing with torches with different couloured cellophane stuck over it, looking at the light play and mixing of colours when you shine the light over each other.
There is a water bead station where we look at the light shining through the transparent beads and engage in lovely sensory play.
We also have a fairy light box cave that is great for explorations. Have fun gang!
